To all Mafiosi: Come to the big brawl!

Mafiosi, equip your attack personnel and stock up your vehicle fleet! From October 31, 2008 until November 2, 2008 we are holding an attack contest. The goal: to have the most victories for attacks on different players.

On your attack page you will find a counter for your attacks and your current rank in the contest. The top 3 each receive a prize, but the 6th, 66th, 666th and 6,666th places also receive a prize.

And something else: From November 1 until November 2, 2008, every immediate purchase on the black market (every purchase with safe dollars) will be rewarded with an extra vacation day.

Ciao amico, a short while ago we were able to seize a heavily guarded delivery of money and after that we rounded up our best counterfeiters.
Padrino, we are impressed – the new dollar bills are really top class!
Unfortunately the foolish errand boy shipped the valuable counterfeit money to the wrong address. What a disaster! Accidentaccio!

Now get going Capo and get that money back from the bandits – because a complete grouping will result in plenty of loot for you:

New to Mafia1930: The Express Bus!

Leave the car behind, Capo, and use the express bus for attacks!

Honorable Don,

Never ask about our businesses! However, you’re like a son, a part of the family! So you’re worthy of receiving confidential information. We were able to get our hands on a new vehicle for the Cosa Nostra: the express bus – an extra special bus with a lot of horsepower and with lots of room for many of our men.

With this vehicle, it won’t be difficult to take command of enemy districts. The bus doesn’t just drive considerably faster but it can get up to 25 of our killers to their destination – so that they can take one of the other districts by surprise and that their Capos may soon take a swim with their new cement shoes. We should acquire as many of these new buses as we can and finally take control over all the businesses alone. Capito?

Nightly protection for your districts

The Night Watchman protects your districts from attack every night between midnight and 6am. Attacks which are already running will, of course, continue to the end. Be careful of overlapping, you are not protected against it. Even when your night watchman is active, you can still start an attack. The Night Watchman can be hired on the black market.

Mafia1930: The War Consigliere

Introduction: This assistant hires personnel!

You will find the War Consigliere on the black market. With his help you can hire a predetermined number of bodyguards or killers in each of your districts - without having to take care of these bothersome personnel matters yourself.

The War Consigliere can hire personnel for you twice per hour – and in the settlement after an attack, he checks to make sure that the desired personnel is present and working in the respective district.

But be careful: this settlement also takes into consideration personnel which is currently traveling or in training.

Attacks at Mafia1930

Fight your way through to climb the ladder of success in the Mafia world!

At Mafia1930 there are two types of attacks: Lootings and Takeovers.

For your attack, regardless of the type, you need personnel (killers, thugs, chief consigliere or bodyguards) as well as a vehicle fleet (cars).

If your looting is a successful, you'll be able to rake in the entire day's takings,3% from his account balance and 10% from the warehouse inventory of your opponent.

If your takeover is successful, you will become the proud owner of the complete district (including warehouse inventory, vehicle fleet, personnel etc.).

Show your opponents no mercy: It's time to attack!

Details of all income and expenses

In Finances, you'll find everything which has to do with your money. What did you spend in which district for what and when. It is divided into two sections: Expenses and Income. Both of these sections are divided into the individual areas from the game. You can click on the individual areas and receive a detailed list of the respective entries. Date, time, District, and the amount are displayed. For some entries, you'll even see the applicable amount.

The Speakeasy at Mafia 1930

Information for beginners

You are new in the game and you just ran into a speakeasy for the first time? Here’s a short explanation of the idea behind it which looks more complicated than it really is.

The speakeasy is there so you can sell a portion of the drugs and booze from your warehouse at a higher price.

In order to rake in such high prices, you first have to expand your bars, restaurants, and even the nightclubs.

As soon as you own all the bars, restaurants, and nightclubs, that is equal to an illegal daily volume of 1000 gallons of booze and 45 pounds of drugs which you can sell from your warehouse. For this amount, you can demand a higher price. Important: You can only do this once per day. If you have already taken advantage of the higher sales price on a particular day, you will have to wait until the next day to take advantage of it again.

The security check which comes right after the login is a security system. It is meant to prevent other players from using illegal means to gain an unfair advantage. As such, we have the possibility to track down these players and take action. To increase the security measures even more, this security check will now be implemented in certain processes during the game.

The Wing System

The Wing System allows you to add on other families as “sub-families”. That way you can form huge family clans. You also have the possibility of moving family members between the families. You’ll find this option under the menu entry “Family”.

The Vehicle Fleet Manager

A new assistant:

He makes sure that your fleet lasts forever instead of just for 25 days.
He repairs your vehicles, with the exception of automobiles, super planes and super trains. He also makes sure that your smuggling convoys (in this case, including super planes and super trains) run 5% faster.

Blackmarket optimized

Due to recent problems with the Blackmarket, we have optimized this section.

We have built in a short pause after each auction-end - so that we can prepare new auctions and we won't have crossover auctions.

I hope this way we can calm down the blackmarket.
